Judge Elizabeth Allen White has served on the Los Angeles Superior Court since 2002. Before then, she was a Judge on the Los Angeles Municipal Court. She was a civil trial attorney for 16 years prior to her appointment. She holds a B.A. from UCLA and a JD from Loyola Law School. Judge White has been an Instructor for UCLA Extension's Attorney Assistant Training Program since 1998 and Adjunct Faculty for Loyola Law School from 2002-2005. She is a frequent faculty member for Continuing Judicial Education and is on the Board of Governors of the California Administrative Office of the Court's Center for Judicial Education and Research. Judge White currently sits in Department 48 of the Stanley Mosk Civil Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, where she is assigned to a direct calendar general jurisdiction civil court.
