Douglas R. Parker is a senior paralegal and director of research at Curtis, Green & Furman LLP in Pasadena. He is a certified litigation specialist with over 15 years of hands-on experience in researching and drafting more than 1,200 civil motions and briefs in complex litigation, tort, and health care cases in trial and appellate courts. An award-winning legal writer, Parker has written, edited, and indexed a wide variety of publications, ranging from legal essays and practice guides to college law textbooks and historical digests.

David N. Finley Esq. has nearly 20 years of combined experience in litigation and legal publishing. He has conducted extensive legal research in State and Federal courts, and has worked up a number of cases for trial and arbitration. He is the creator and co-author of Federal Motions in Limine and Federal Summary Judgment and Related Termination Motions as well as nearly two dozen additional state versions of the in limine motion line. He is the creator and former Editor-in-Chief of the national voir dire newsletter, The Jury Expert. He graduated from Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and an award recipient for best written brief. He is also an adjunct Instructor of Legal Research and Writing at Chapman University School of Law.

Lori L. Maze, Esq. is a civil litigation attorney with extensive experience handling civil trial and law and motion matters in private law firms and as house counsel for a major national insurance company. She has substantial legal publishing and editing experience and has contributed to numerous litigation practice guides. As the former director of a national embryo adoption program, she has lectured on the legal issues associated with assisted reproductive medicine and adoption and in 2004, was recognized by then-President George W. Bush for her work in embryo adoption. She graduated from Occidental College (1985) and Loyola Law School (1989), where she was a Staff Member and Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. Ms. Maze currently serves as a legal research attorney and temporary judge (judge pro tem) for the Orange County Superior Court Civil Complex Panel.
