He is partner in the firm of Levine, Steinberg, Miller & Huver in San Diego, and a past President of the California Trial Lawyers Association (1989) and San Diego Trial Lawyers Association (1983). He has practiced law since 1970 and is a member of the California, New York and Texas Bars. Mr. Levine has received numerous awards and extensive recognition for his accomplishments as a lawyer, teacher and community leader, including: Trial Lawyer of the Year Award (1981, 1986 - San Diego Trial Lawyers Ass'n), Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award (1981, 1987, 1990 - San Diego Treial Lawyers Ass'n), Trial Lawyer of the Year (2002 - Consumer Attorneys of San Diego), Bernard E. Witkin, Esq. Award, honoring a member of the San Diego legal community for civil leadership and excellence in the teaching, practice, enactment or adjudication of the law (2000 - San Diego Law Library Justice Found.), Robert E. Cartwright, Sr. Award for Trial Advocacy in recognition of excellence in trial advocacy and dedication to teaching trial advocacy (1999 - Consumer Attorneys of California), and is one of "The Top 100 Lawyers in California" ( 2003, 2004 - L.A. Daily Journal).

Harvey R. Levine is one of the nation's outstanding trial lawyers.
